For the past 9 years, the CCYAA in conjunction with the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club and Reebok, have run a basketball development program for children aged 6 to 15. CCYAA is proud to partner with Canada Basketball to bring forth an opportunity for youth across Toronto.  The Steve Nash Youth Basketball Program (SNYB) is a national youth basketball program designed to develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship and a love of the game for basketball. CCYAA 15 & Under Basketball Team

For the past three years now, CCYAA has entered a boys 15 & under basketball team to compete in the annual NACBA (www.nacbait.com) basketball tournament.

2007 was the year that the NACBA committee introduced a 15 & under division and the team travelled to Philadelphia, PA to compete in the tournament; CCYAA lost in the semi-finals. In 2008, the tournament was held in Philadelphia, PA again. CCYAA ended up winning the consolation finals in a nail-biting match against one of the New York teams. The 2008 CCYAA U15 team also competed in the 17th Annual Overseas Basketball Tournament and captured the title in the 15 & under division.

CCYAA 15 & Under team placed first; with a perfect record, this year (2009) at the NACBAIT tournament in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Congratulations to all team members and to Eric Chong for being named Tournament MVP and Chris Wong for making the All-Tournament Team.
