During the weekend of August 18th-19th, 2007, the Canadian Chinese Youth Athletics Association (CCYAA) hosted its end-of-summer newly, competitive tournament: "Identify Yourself" Asian Basketball Tournament. Featuring highly-known teams and players in the Asian community, this tournament was a great success. With 18 teams participating from all over Toronto and visiting teams from out of town including Montreal, the tournament was filled with great competition. On Saturday August 18th, five teams including Toronto Diplomats, Toronto Flights, Montreal Kaitas, Knights and FCCM all went undefeated during the first round of play. The rest of the thirteen teams stepped up their game during playoffs, leading to more close and competitive games on Sunday.
