On July 1st, the Canadian Chinese Youth Athletics Association (CCYAA) hosted the 16th Annual Overseas Chinese Basketball Tournament at the University of Toronto and Hoop Dome. With 20 teams participating from all over Toronto and visiting teams from Windsor, Montreal and Chicago, the tournament was filled with great competition. |

The 1st Showdown in Chinatown was a great success. This new 15 and under basketball tournament presented by CCYAA attracted many youth ballers from all across the Greater Toronto Area. With teams from Downtown, North York, Markham, Mississauga and Scarborough; Riverdale C.I was filled with youth. At the end of the day, only one team took home the championship. Here are the results:

CCYAA is proud to host the 2006 CCYAA Fall Recreational Basketball League. This seasonal league takes place every Saturday from September to December at Sir John A. MacDonald C.I. This year's league features six competitive teams, as they follow a 10 weeks regular season followed by playoffs. |

The 10th Annual CCYAA 3-on-3 Shootout has come and gone. This annual summer classic presented by CCYAA has always attracted serious street ballers the Toronto Chinese community has to offer. This year was no exception! Hundreds of players from all across the Greater Toronto Area were on hand to participate at the CCYAA 3-on-3 Shootout at First Markham Place on Saturday, August 19th. |
